As a Communication Assistant at URrelay, you will provide text-to-speech relay communication for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals via their personal computer. Whether it's ordering a pizza, participating in a business meeting, scheduling an appointment, or just catching up with an old friend, you will be helping people connect to each other and the world they live in. Every call is different and there are no sales and no quotas! Feel good about your job by knowing you are offering a valuable service to the community.
Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, type at least 65 wpm, have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Spanish-speaking a plus!
Our VRS interpreters facilitate video-to-speech relay communication using American Sign Language. This fast and fluent method of communication is on the rise, and URrelay is hiring qualified interpreters to join the team! Interested candidates may call our office to arrange for a signing skills-test.
